Hey! I’m finally writing a new blog post. NOT. =o)

It seems as though I’ve been blog-writing stumped (it sounded like a cool thing to do a few months ago when I signed up). I’ll pump something good out soon, I promise. Maybe.

3 more weeks and ready to lose my virginity (property virginity, haha).

So, I’m super stoked that my hubby (@scodoz for all you twitter users) will be back from Air Force Reserve schooling (Witchita Falls, TX) in three weeks! He’s been gone since October 21st! I have to admit, it hasn’t been a bad experience at all! The only challenge (if that’s what you’d call it) has been trying to make sure that I’m giving “R” (our almost four year old son) enough attention, whilst working a full-time job, and trying to keep the house in order. I’ve REALLY got nothing to complain about. SO many other people have it worse. The coolest thing has been that we’ve been able to see each other via webcam (OOVOO – love it!) for the past few months, so “R” can call his daddy whenever he wants to talk (yeah, he’s figured out how to use the computer pretty darn well! Kids are so smart these days).

We’re also in the process of looking for a house to buy. First time – woot! Thank goodness for low interest rates and VA Loans! We’ve been obsessed with watching the HGTV channel for a couple of years now, so we’re ready to lose our “property virginity”. We think we’ve got this figured out, but we’ll see. Hubby is trusting me to go out and look (and even place an offer if something perfect comes along) without him…. gosh, he’s amazing! My first look at houses (in person) will be tomorrow, so wish us luck!

Home with 2000+ Sq Ft (with stairs, per “R’s” request), 4 bedrooms, 2+ baths, and a huge backyard with GRASS (and maybe a pool) in a great location, here we come! LOL… wishful thinking, eh?

Here’s the picture of a double rainbow that I took on my way home from work today, Feb. 11, 2009. Of course, it was much more vibrant and beautiful in real life! It made my drive home in more-horrible-than-normal rush hour traffic a breeze.
